The required distances must be swum in the 50-meter pool at the Rother outdoor pool. No aids are permitted, except for goggles and swim caps. Lifeguards are on hand to ensure safety at the pool.

Important change to the swimming schedule / Please note: this change applies only to Friday’s competitions !

Swimming takes place in 50-metre lanes marked out by ropes. Swimmers start one at a time, with intervals of 5–10 seconds between each start.

The race starts in lane 1 and swimmers proceed from lane to lane up to lane 8. This means the distances are adjusted to 0.8 km (sprint distance) and 0.4 km (sprint relays).

In the sprint relays, the swimmers must complete one lap of the 8 x 50 m lanes; in the sprint distance, the lanes must be swum in two laps with a short break on dry land.

Timing will be done by crossing a timing mat. You can find more details on our social media channels.

The cycling route is a out-and-back course that is completely closed to public traffic. It runs from the start and finish area at the Roth Leisure Pool via Allersberger-Straße, Meckenloher Weg, Georg-Thoma-Allee and Schleifweg, heading out of town towards Meckenlohe and Harlach. A turning point is set up on the route, depending on the distance. From this point, the route follows the same path back to the start and finish. Please note that there are two turning points on the 20 km cycle route. (see route map)

Attention!

Overtaking is strictly prohibited when entering and exiting the “Allersberger Straße” underpass. The underpass is for inbound traffic only. To travel out of town, take “Allersberger Straße” and then the footpath leading to “Xaver-Meisinger-Straße”. “Allersberger Straße” will be closed to traffic by the police during this time.

It is important for all athletes on the course to note that drafting is prohibited!

The running route is a out-and-back course. The route leads from the start and finish area through the Rothgrund, partly following the original routes of the DATEV Challenge Roth, to the respective turning points and back to the start and finish.
